Bransby Horses – A Pumpkin Patch With A Difference
Possibly the best value pumpkin picking patch in Lincolnshire will return to Bransby Horses this autumn.
Pecan’s Pumpkin Patch will be open throughout the month of October, where for just £3 visitors can choose the perfect Halloween squash to take home with them.
Bransby Horses, who are committed to improving equine welfare, are excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity to support their cause while enjoying a memorable day out with family or friends.
Proceeds from the event go towards the charity’s work and visitors can make a day of it with a walk around the 300 acre site which has an excellent visitor’s center, café, donated goods and gift shops and a well-equipped children’s play park.
Bransby Horses spokeswoman Maria Thompson said: “We know how much our supporters love a pumpkin patch at this time of year and our Sponsorship Star, Pecan the Shetland pony, is hoping lots of children will come and visit his.
“Just like the equines we care for our pumpkins come in all different shapes and sizes so choosing your favourite might be difficult but we charge a flat fee of just £3, for any size, which I’m sure people will agree, is pretty hard to beat.
“We can’t wait to celebrate autumn with everyone and hope to see some of you in your Halloween fancy dress.”
Bransby Horses is located a few miles north of Lincoln city centre and is one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities caring for over 1,000 equines alongside their daily rescue and educational work.
