Learn About Animal Welfare With Bransby Horses
As one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities, Bransby Horses are open to visitors all year round providing fun ways to learn about the work they do. Entry is free and there is a café, playground and plenty of opportunities around the farm to meet their rescued horses, ponies and donkeys. And the fun doesn’t end there - you can keep in touch after you leave, through the charity’s Sponsorship Star scheme.
Magical Moments under the Moon at Lincoln Cathedral
Come and experience the majesty of Luke Jerram’s ‘Museum of the Moon’, suspended beneath the central tower of Lincoln Cathedral. Between Monday 7 and Sunday 27 February, the Cathedral will provide a spectacular backdrop for the stunning installation, which features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
Bransby Horses – a great day out for all the family
Bransby Horses has been rescuing horses, ponies, donkeys and mules since 1968 and welcome thousands of visitors to meet their four-legged residents every year. They’re FREE to visit and are open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm, and seven days a week during school holidays.
Active Arena – sports and entertainment under one roof!
Active Arena is an indoor entertainment venue, with three purpose-built 5-a-side pitches, indoor studio, sports bar & beer garden with an outdoor screen.
