Market Rasen Racecourse stages 21 racedays throughout the year – with every single one in 2026 offering FREE ENTRY FOR KIDS!
On site for every raceday there is an adventure playground for kids to burn off steam during and in between racing and keep them entertained throughout the day. There are kids meal deals available, plus plenty of room to run around on the lawn and indoor seating areas for the colder months!
On Easter Sunday and at the July Family Extravaganza and Boxing Day, there is additional Kids’ entertainment including inflatable fun, face painting and much more! Please see below for more details on 2026’s themes!
Whether you love racing or you’re new to the sport, you can guarantee a great day out. There is no dress code at the racecourse, you can bring a picnic to the Lawn Enclosure and the racecourse is dog friendly too!
Adult tickets start from £10 each when bought online, although prices may vary dependent on the event.
Easter Sunday Racing – Sunday 5 April
Easter Sunday Racing at Market Rasen Racecourse promises a family-friendly day out, blending thrilling horse racing with the egg-citement of Easter! This year, the racecourse is holding a one-off classic vehicle rally, with classic cars, bikes, scooters and tractors on display.
Under 18s go free! Bring your children along for the day and treat them to an incredible day of free entertainment!
Our General Admission enclosure is a merge of the Lawn and Tattersalls enclosures, which is transformed into a lively celebration for families and racegoers. In here, you can expect completely free of charge entertainment including a bubble artist, inflatables, mini land rovers, face painting and more!
Pack a picnic and bring it along to the General Admission enclosure. Watch as the horses thunder down the track and soak up the happy atmosphere that we strive to deliver at Market Rasen.
Make the most of the Easter Bank Holiday and book a great day out. Booking online saves £5 on the gate price, and with a family ticket available for only £22, it’ll be one of the cheapest days out in the Easter Holidays.

Family Sportsday Raceday – Sunday 5 July
Join us for a fantastic afternoon of live racing on and off the track at our sportsday themed Summer event!
There will be plenty of chances to win on the day with running races, egg & spoon and sack races, races on the track and all kinds of sporting activities to get involved in. The dress code will be fully relaxed, and we encourage everyone to come in their PE kit and take part!
Racegoers can also expect inflatable fun, face painting and pony racing!
With so much to offer, this really is an unmissable raceday for families! Remember, under 18s go FREE!
*U18s must be accompanied by an adult aged 21+ at all times.
