Come and join Elmer in your favourite character costume, make an Elmer mask and join our parade to Central Library!
10 am – 11 am Have a selfie with Elmer as he visits the High Street
11 am Come and make an Elmer mask at either Waterstones, Waterside
Centre or Shelf Editions
1 pm Join Elmer’s BIG Art Parade from Waterside Centre (High Street entrance) to Central Library
1.30 pm Lydia Sanders, children’s author of the Hysterical Herstories, will be hosting a storytime and presenting prizes to the best costume!
Currently in the series are Marie Curie, Coco Chanel, Rosa Parks, Boudicca, and Ada Lovelace, and Lydia would love to hear your suggestions for any more women you think deserve a herstory, so feel free to get in touch at hysterical-herstories.com.
