Join Park Rangers for a short walk to discover the colourful world of butterflies or see what’s bugging. Find out about some of our fluttering friends which thrive here in summer and take part in the Big Butterfly Count 2025 as well as lots of fun butterfly activities.

Come along and see what’s bugging us at Hope Wood. Join us to get up close and personal with some seriously creepy creatures! Search the meadow, look under logs and peer at trees to find the mini beasts which make the wood their home.

Butterfly Walk:

Bug Hunt:
