Lincs Green Spaces Summer Events

Looking for summer activities? Want to get the kids exploring the great outdoors?
Then join us at one of Lincolns Green spaces for just that!

Six weeks summer holidays of fun kick off with this ever-popular event, make your
very own seed bombs and piece of artwork thrown in! Make your own Catapult to
fling the bombs out into the environment. Then get creative using flowers and leaves,
to make your own creation using the traditional Japanese technique Hapa Zome.

How awesome are plants? They’re satisfying to grow, super delicious to eat, and
great to make natural dyes out of, so why not give it a try in our natural dye
workshop. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring whatever you have at
home if you would like to dye it (Wednesday 26 th July @ Boultham and Wednesday
30 th August @ Hartsholme).

Get up close and personal with some seriously creepy creatures on the Bug Hunt
(Thursday 27 th July @ Hope Wood and Thursday 24 th August @ Hartsholme).
Searching the grassland and looking under logs.

Discover the colorful world of butterflies whilst taking part in the Big Butterfly Count
2023 as well as lots of fun activities during Butterfly Bonanza (Thursday 27 th July @
Hartsholme and Thursday 3 rd August @ Hope Wood)

Join us to explore Hartsholme Country Park by taking part in a themed treasure hunt.
Solve the puzzles and complete the challenges and finally find your prize (Thursday
10 th August).

You will be left asking who lives in a house like this, during Den Building
(Wednesday 2nd August @ Hartsholme, and Wednesday 23 rd August @ Boultham)
where you can put your construction skills to the test

Join us on our ever popular Bottle Rockets event at Boultham Park Thursday 3 rd
August @ Hartsholme and Thursday 24 th August @ Boultham ).

Explore the hidden depths, and delve beneath the surface of our wildlife pond to see
what creepy critters are lurking below in the underwater world whilst taking part in
our Pond Dipping event (Wednesday 9 th August @ Boultham and Thursday 31 st
August @ Hartsholme)

Make a home for your bugs by creating your very own conservation project to take
away with you! (Thursday 31 st August @ Hope Wood)
