The Skellingthorpe Christmas Trail

Santa’s lost his hat!
One of Santa’s elves has lost Santa’s most valued hat in Skellingthorpe. This particular hat has been an heirloom passed down in the Santa family for generations. The elf was borrowing it to keep his elfie ears warm but then left it in a house in the village while he was helping Santa write the Naughty or Nice list. Can you help Santa find his hat?

Visit the website below to purchase and download a trail sheet which will help you to locate Santa’s precious headpiece. The trail sheet will take you round the village of Skellingthorpe where you’ll solve clues to collect letters and numbers. Once you’ve completed the trail, you’ll need to unscramble your collection to reveal the location of Santa’s missing hat. Are you up for the challenge? If you’re successful in your quest, you can submit your trail sheet at the address to be entered into a prize draw. The trail takes approximately 1hr – 1.5hrs to complete.

This trail is a safe, outdoor event that can be done at a time of your choice between Dec 5th – Jan 4th with your own household/permitted group. It has been organised by Saint Lawrence PTA to raise money for the school and Billy’s House, Nottingham (CLIC Sargent).

The Skellingthorpe Christmas Trail launched on Saturday 5th December and runs until Monday 4th January. Purchase and download a trail sheet ONLINE to print at home at: http://www.skellingthorpetrail.co.uk.

Trail sheets can also be purchased from Daisy Made and the Gardenfield Village Store, Skellingthorpe.
