Find your happy feet with Stagecoach Performing Arts

At Stagecoach Performing Arts we teach children and teenagers how to sing, dance and act, not only to perform on stage but also, more importantly, to perform better in life. Suitable for a range of abilities, Stagecoach offers the chance for kids to pursue a career in the performing arts or simply learn some new skills to share with family and friends and help them in their futures.

Stagecoach Lincoln South was taken over, one year ago, by Kirsty & Chris Charles. They are a husband and wife duo who also run Stagecoach Greenwich & Blackheath, in South East London. Having been part of Stagecoach for almost a decade now, Kirsty was excited at the opportunity to take over Stagecoach Lincoln South as it’s her hometown. Visiting the area regularly anyway to see family, it is a perfect fit.

Kirsty was a child who found the Performing Arts at a young age, and is forever grateful for the impact it had on her life. It created a strong work ethic, an ability to engage with people in social and professional capacities and perform well as a member of a team and as an individual in the work place. As well as all those life skills, she was also given the opportunity to have life experiences like no other – performing on exciting stages across the country and world among her peers whom she is still connected with now.

At Stagecoach Lincoln South we offer two different classes, depending on the age range of your child. In our Early Stages classes, young children aged 4-6 years become more confident and develop lifelong skills at our safe, fun and welcoming singing, dancing and drama classes. These classes last 90 minutes and are held weekly during term time. For students aged 6-16 years, they are able to explore their creativity as they develop singing, dancing and drama skills in our engaging performing arts classes. Our Main Stages classes run for 3 hours per week in term time. Alongside the termly classes we run Holiday Workshops, where children and teens have fun improving their performing arts skills and get to perform a show in front of family and friends.

After a busy Christmas period performing both locally and in Birmingham Town Hall, we are busy preparing for our performance of Matilda Jr the Musical this Spring, and are planning for an exciting creative term in Summer 2023, exploring Film/TV, and popular Music Video styles for singing and dance.

Wherever your child is at in their journey we have something for them at Stagecoach! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask us about our classes, workshops or ‘student to teacher’ development options.
