Market Rasen Racecourse stages 22 race days a year and 20 of those events are family friendly with under 18’s attending for FREE! On site there is an adventure playground for kids to burn of steam during and in between racing and keep them entertained throughout the day.

As one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities, Bransby Horses are open to visitors all year round providing fun ways to learn about the work they do. Entry is free and there is a café, playground and plenty of opportunities around the farm to meet their rescued horses, ponies and donkeys. And the fun doesn’t end there - you can keep in touch after you leave, through the charity’s Sponsorship Star scheme.

Bransby Horses has been rescuing horses, ponies, donkeys and mules since 1968 and welcome thousands of visitors to meet their four-legged residents every year. They’re FREE to visit and are open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm, and seven days a week during school holidays.
