This October half term the Lincs Kids team are celebrating all the great activities on offer in Lincolnshire by hosting a family day out at Lincoln Cathedral!
The BIG Lincoln Family Event takes place on Saturday 19th October 2024 from 10.30am to 3pm.
This FREE event aims to showcase activities, venues and offers with LOTS of fun stuff to do for children and grown-ups throughout the day!
About the venue:
The majesty of Lincoln Cathedral needs no introduction for local families – and on the day of the BIG Lincoln Family Event – admission will be free of charge.
As well as all of our activities you can also:
Borrow one of our themed backpacks to increase the fun and learning during your visit. There’s an activity trolley with dressing up, books and toys to play with whilst you are in the Cathedral.
Don’t miss the Discovery Centre where you can build a giant arch (and knock it down!), emboss a bookmark with a Cathedral seal design, work out the stained-glass window story and much more. During school holidays, the Learning Centre is open for exciting, themed arts and crafts.
The event will take place in the Nave of Lincoln Cathedral – with stands, info and demonstrations.
Don’t forget to pop to the lovely café and the Cathedral shop full of pocket money items, souvenirs, and gifts for all the family!
