Easter 2025 is just around the corner, and we’ve got some exciting plans to celebrate the spring holiday season and keep the whole family entertained.

Enjoy an Easter crafts session at either Boultham Park (Tuesday 8 April 10:00am to 11:30am) Hartsholme Country Park (Tuesday 8 April 1pm to 2:30pm) or Arboretum (Thursday 10 April 10:00am to 11:30am) where you can make your very own Easter Tree to bring the springtime indoors!

Let’s go fly a kite on Thursday 10 April@ Hartsholme Country Park (1pm to 2.30pm) and make your very own flying masterpiece.

Have a go at wood whittling it’s fun and creative on (Wednesday 16 April 10:00am to 11:30am @Boultham Park).

It’s a great way to introduce anyone to safe knife skills, and with the right know-how and supervision, there’s no need for it to be risky!

Discover the joys of flight by making your very own Bottle Rocket (Hartsholme Wednesday 16 April 1pm to 2.30pm). This activity has lots going on, a satisfying whoosh;, a high-speed departure, and a good soaking if you are standing close!!

For Easter weekend (Friday 18 April to Sunday 20 April 12pm to 3pm @ Hartsholme Country Park), join us for our Easter Egg Hunt around the park to see what the Easter bunny has left behind! Before you set off, you will receive a trail sheet and pencil to help you with your adventure, don’t forget to come back with your sheet to eggschange it for their very own chocolatey treat!
