What do we offer?

At Lisa Hurst Dance we don’t just teach classes; we also provide lots of extra opportunities which are all optional that students can take part in from different workshops with industry professionals to fun holiday dance days.

Each year, we offer a performance event where all students get opportunities to perform in different theatres and venues. In July 2023, all our students performed two shows of our latest production ‘Let the Games Begin’ at the
historic New Theatre Royal, Lincoln. It was a fabulous and mesmerising display of entertainment featuring over 150 students as each student lit up the stage to showcase their talents, hard work and dedication in front of proud family and friends.

Not only do our students get to perform at a variety of local events, they can also be entered into accredited graded examinations and medal tests for a variety of dance styles and compete across the UK at competitions and festivals. We are very proud of our consistent top exam and competition results.

Not only do students have lots of opportunities with us they also have opportunities elsewhere too with some of our students being accepted into national associate dance programmes.

We provide a welcoming and friendly environment to dance in, with age appropriate classes for dancers aged 2 years right though to 18 years all at pocket friendly prices in Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Street Dance, Commercial, Jazz and Lyrical.

We also have a magical and unique pre-school programme where our littlest dancers can explore, learn, dance and use their imaginations with our friends Hugo the Hippo and Bella the bear. We are big on early childhood learning and take care to make sure our students are having fun whilst learning.
