With Autumn brewing and Halloween fast approaching, Lincoln BIG are excited to launch The BIG Spook 2024!
Back and better than ever, we’ve got lots of tricks and treats in store for the whole family.
With a feast of eerie activities, we’re capturing the spirt of the season. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fang-tastic events we have coming up this Halloween…
Monster Invasion – 21st – 27th October
You’ve been warned there’s an invasion coming …
Our monsters are back by popular demand, and we’ve got some new faces this year ready to stir up trouble.
It’s time to round up those naughty monsters who’ve invaded all corners of our city, an interactive way to explore what Lincoln has to offer.
Strolling Bones Skeleton Parade – 24th October
The Cathedral Quarter will be brought to life with the amazingly visual Strolling Bones, produced by Walk The Plank. A wonderful mix of street theatre, live music, puppetry and general Halloween mischief parades through the streets. Bring yourown mask and/or costume and join in the fun.
Parade times – 12:30/2:30/4:00pm all parades begin at St Paul in the Bail
Ghost Bus Tours -19th & 26th October
There’s no better way to learn about all the horror stories Lincoln has to offer than by local ghost expert, Karen Crow. Join them as as they guide you through all the gore by bus and relive the stories of Lincolns haunted past.
Halloween Trail – 21st – 27th October
Want a challenge? Find the eleven creepy characters hiding in shop windows, once you’ve found them all you need to spell the secret phrase. Once you’ve succeeded you can claim a free pumpkin* when you bring your completed form to the pumpkin patch over the weekend of 26th -27th .
*Served on a first come, first served basis.
Pumpkin Patch – 26th – 27th October – 11am – 4pm
Those pumpkin peddlin’ scarecrows are back at the Waterside Shopping Centre.
They’ve set up a patch with real pumpkins, wheelbarrows and photo opportunities for you to come and pick your own pumpkin in time for Halloween.
Darkfield, Eulogy – 22nd – 27th October

Think you’re brave enough? Enter Darkfield’s unsettling immersive audio experience.
Prepare for an intense, immersive audio experience from award-winning DARKFIELD.
